Why I Chose Residency in Montana: Since I spent so much time traveling out west for various adventures, I figured I’d explore residency in Montana and did a clerkship in Billings. I was happy to discover an amazing group of residents working hard, enjoying themselves in the off time, and supportive of one another. The faculty felt understanding, down to earth, and deeply invested in the residency. The Billings community also surprised me with its blue-collar genuineness, its unique brewpubs, and its fun open mics. In all I felt welcome and home in Billings... and I think others will too!!!
