LIFE BEFORE MEDICINE: Many summers doing house & farm construction during college followed by 2 years of neuropsych research at the University of Chicago.

FAVORITE BOOKS: The Chronicles of Narnia series, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit

FAVORITE MOVIES: Anything with a good soundtrack.

WHY YOU CHOSE RESIDENCY IN MONTANA: I chose residency in Montana for the strong community-based single-residency program with a focus on rural and wilderness medicine. Montana also provides a wealth of
outdoor recreation and beauty for life outside medicine.
