Why you chose residency in Montana: It's the finest state in the Union! Also, I spent a month rotating with MFMR during my fourth year of medical school, and I was very impressed by the friendliness and overall quality of the faculty, residents, and staff as well as their dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of the underserved. The opportunity to get some training in Wilderness Medicine didn't hurt either.
