Interests Outside of Medicine: Anything that involves being outside, preferably in the sun. Some of my favorites: running, snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking/camping, surfing, and exploring new places. My plan is to add fly fishing and hunting after I become a Montana girl.

Life before Medicine: Air Force paper-pusher for 5 years (Ops Support at Vance AFB in Enid, OK and B-1 Bombers at Ellsworth AFB in Rapid City, SD). Jumped out of perfectly good airplanes at 5000 feet, flew glider planes, and got to fly a T-38. Volunteer firefighter and EMT. Kids running club mentor.
Favorite Books: “The Fountainhead” by Ayn Rand
Favorite Music: U2, Eddie Vedder, Mozart, Nickel Creek, Linkin Park, Dire Straits, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Pink, Bob Seger, and “Western Skies” by Chris LeDoux
Favorite Movie: Band of Brothers series, Braveheart, and The Incredibles
Why you chose residency in Montana: In a word, quality. Initially, it was the place, and then I met the people and learned about the program. Doesn’t get any better!
