Why you chose residency in Montana: Mostly, I wanted to train for rural medicine. I also am from Montana and I feel a very strong sense of place and community here. I felt that caring for Montanan people was the place for me. I also did a rotation here and I felt that the residents were a close-knit group that cared about each other. I also felt they were happy and had fun here.
