Description: Full-time position. Coordinate, participate and lead the family medicine services of the Community Health Center, including the Healthcare for the Homeless Program, Community Dental Practice, Correctional Health Program and all medical services of the health center. The Medical Director also acts as a faculty physician of the Montana Family Medicine Residency, including teaching residents in various clinical settings, as well as precepting residents at the Community Health Center. The Medical Director works as part of a Medical/Administrative Team and supervises medical and ancillary providers. This position requires effective working relationships with support staff, faculty physicians, providers, patients, board members and the general public. The Medical Director will maintain active privileges in the health center and local hospitals and will maintain an active family medicine practice in addition to leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Quality Improvement concepts, experience in accreditation issues and a commitment to the Community Health Center model. AA/ADA/EEO.
